An error has been detected in the translation of the article by Joan Antoni Gómez-Hospital et al., entitled “Long-term Follow-up After Percutaneous Treatment of the Unprotected Left Main Stenosis in High Risk Patients Not Suitable for Bypass Surgery”, published in Rev Esp Cardiol. 2012;65(6):530-7.

The correct terminology for the classification of stent thrombosis is probable, possible and definite. In error, the English term “definite”, used to describe the thrombosis, was translated into Spanish as “definida”, instead of “definitiva”. Thus, in the “Resultados” section of the abstract in Spanish, the phrase “Se observó una trombosis de stent definida en 2 pacientes (0,9%) y una trombosis de stent probable en 7 (3,1%)”, should read “Se observó una trombosis de stent definitiva en 2 pacientes (0,9%) y una trombosis de stent probable en 7 (3,1%)”.

This correction has been included in the online version of the article, dated 20-06-2012.
