During the peer review process of the article by Uribarri et al., entitled “Interhospital Transfer in Patients on ECMO Support. An Essential Tool for a Critical Care Network” (Rev Esp Cardiol. 2017; http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.rec.2017.02.038), a discrepancy was found with respect to data from the same patient series, presented in the article by Merchán et al., “Ventricular Support With Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation: Beyond Cardiogenic Shock Treatment”, published in Rev Esp Cardiol. 2015;68:897-909. In the article by Merchán et al., in the analysis of the data of patient 5, it was reported that the patient was transferred 220km under ECMO support, when the exact distance, as indicated in the article by Uribarri et al., was 224km.
This correction was introduced in the electronic version of the article on 7 February 2017.
