A 4-year-old boy of Roma origin, with delayed language development and deafness, had a cardiorespiratory arrest while playing. The father started basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers and the patient regained consciousness in less than 1minute. He was referred to the emergency room. On arrival, his neurological status was good, although he did not remember what had happened, and his vital signs were normal. There were no findings of interest in the clinical examination or laboratory tests. The family members reported previous episodes of loss of consciousness while playing and a family history of sudden cardiac death at an early age. The ECG shown in the Figure 1 was recorded.
