La cardiorresonancia magnética (CRM) es una técnica diagnóstica de amplio potencial, cuyas indicaciones clínicas se están concretando en documentos de consenso recientes. La disponibilidad de toda una serie de modalidades de la CRM y, particularmente, el diferente grado de complejidad que requieren las exploraciones hacen recommendable una sistematización de estos aspectos que sirva de orientación a cardiólogos y radiólogos que se inician en la técnica. En el presente artículo se refleja la posición sobre estos temas de un panel de expertos del Grupo de Trabajo de Cardio-RM y Cardio-TC de la Sociedad Española de Cardiología.
